OurCart collects the information needed to run a private household shopping app: account email, display name, household membership, shopping items, chat messages, notification subscriptions, payment references, and payment slips uploaded for manual review.

How We Use It

• To sign you in and keep your household data synced.
• To send app notifications for list, chat, and account activity.
• To review manual bank transfer payments and activate access.
• To protect the app from abuse and unauthorized access.

Data Protection

Household data is protected with household-level access controls so members can only access households they belong to. Payment slips are only for access review and are not public.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only use trusted service providers needed to operate OurCart, including app hosting, data storage, authentication, notifications, and email delivery.

Your Choices

You can contact us to ask about your account, request corrections, or request deletion of your account data where possible.
